I guess they can be kind of a mishmash of fantasy styles/settings/periods which aren't integrated into existing lore 100% perfectly. They add so much more visual interest and variety to the stuff equipped by NPCs and are complimented wonderfully by Cloaks of Skyrim and Winter is Coming (adds fur capes and hoods.) Unless you have a problem with the people of Skyrim wearing a lot more fur/pelts/animal bones and other animal parts obtained by hunting, which I don't, I think it fits into existing lore wonderfully. Its all good and well to have an opinion, but using that opinion to dismiss others voices is a really poor thing to do.Ībsolute necessity for my game. Many of the main diffuse (color) textures are just blandly made in general which makes some of the weapons look out of place with the vanilla textures even when compared side by side in an image editor, which carried through to looking wrong in game.

Others are missing normal maps entirely which causes them to be very flat, or have had specularity maps which make the weapons look plastically or out of place.

Some of the textures and models are insanely detailed which on my PC actually causes a noticeable delay when equipping them or just trying to view their model in the inventory. Immersive Weapons has some quality issues that are very apparent. To say that if someone else has a different opinion you should just ignore them is quite rude when the OP is specifically asking for opinions and there are some well documented technical issues with the quality of Immersive Weapons specifically, and this is coming from someone who only uses 1k textures for the most part and keeps things very simple as far as replacement models.
